Our add-ons are built and tested against current Tally releases. This page lists supported versions, editions and environments so you can confirm fit before buying.
Supported Tally versions
- TallyPrime 3.x, 4.x, 5.x and 6.x — fully supported
- TallyPrime Edit Log editions — supported on the same releases
- Tally ERP 9 Release 6.x — supported for most products
- Tally 7.2, 8.1 and 9 (legacy) — not supported
- Educational / demo mode — add-ons load but licence validation will not pass
Editions and user setups
- Silver (single user) — supported, one licence per serial number
- Gold (multi user) — supported, one licence covers the shared serial number
- Server / data on a shared network path — supported
- Tally on cloud or RDP hosting — supported, licence follows the Tally serial number
- Remote access (Tally.NET) — reports render where the add-on is loaded on the host
Operating environment
- Windows 10 and 11, Windows Server 2016 and later
- 32-bit and 64-bit Tally installations
- Any regional or GST configuration used by TallyPrime in India and abroad
Checking a specific product
Each product page lists the versions that build was tested on. Where a product is version-specific, that is stated on the product page before purchase.
If your Tally release is newer than the one listed, contact support before buying — an updated build is usually available.
Frequently asked questions
Will an add-on bought for TallyPrime 4 work on TallyPrime 6?
In most cases yes. Where a Tally release changes internal objects, we supply a recompiled build; see the updates policy for eligibility.
Does it work with Tally hosted on cloud?
Yes. The add-on is loaded on the hosted Tally instance and validates against the same Tally serial number.
