A TDL add-on extends TallyPrime without changing your company data. This page explains the full journey — what you are buying, how the licence is tied to your Tally serial number, how the file is activated and what daily use looks like.
What you are actually buying
Every product on TDL Master is a compiled add-on file (usually a .tcp) plus a usage licence. The file adds new menus, reports, fields or print formats inside your existing Tally. Your vouchers, masters and balances stay exactly where they are.
You are not buying Tally itself, and no accounting data is transferred to us at any point.
The purchase to usage flow
- 1Pick the add-on from the TDL Shop and add it to your cart.
- 2At checkout, enter your Tally serial number — the licence is issued against that number.
- 3Complete payment. Prices are shown in your local currency where supported.
- 4Download the add-on file from your order page immediately after payment.
- 5Load the file in Tally through F1 > TDL & Add-on (TallyPrime) or F12 > Product & Features (Tally ERP 9).
- 6The add-on validates your serial number and the new menus or reports appear inside Tally.
Why the Tally serial number matters
- The licence is bound to one Tally serial number, so the correct number at checkout is essential
- A wrong or educational-version serial number will fail validation
- Multi-user or multi-site setups need one licence per Tally serial number
- Serial number changes after a Tally licence transfer must be reported to support so the add-on can be re-issued
Using the add-on day to day
Once loaded, an add-on behaves like part of Tally. Reports appear under the usual Gateway of Tally menus, extra fields appear on the relevant vouchers and print formats appear in the print configuration.
An add-on can be switched off at any time by removing it from the loaded TDL list. Nothing you have already recorded is affected.

Does a TDL add-on change my company data?
No. A TDL changes how Tally behaves and what it displays. Your company file structure and existing entries stay intact, and removing the add-on returns Tally to its normal behaviour.
Can I use one purchase on two computers?
Yes, if both computers run the same Tally serial number, as in a single multi-user licence. A different serial number requires a separate licence.
How soon do I get the file after payment?
Immediately. The download link is available on your order page as soon as payment is confirmed, and it is also e-mailed to you.
