License & Usage Policy

This License & Usage Policy governs the licensing and permitted use of all Tally Definition Language (TDL) programs and related digital products developed and distributed by Tally Master through this website. By purchasing, installing, activating, or using any TDL program, the user agrees to be bound by this policy.

License Nature and Scope

All TDL programs are licensed software utilities and are not sold as goods. The license granted is non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-assignable, and limited in scope. The license permits use of the software strictly in accordance with this policy and does not transfer any ownership, title, or intellectual property rights to the user.

Serial Number–Based Licensing

Each TDL license is issued exclusively for a specific registered Tally Software Serial Number. The software may be installed and used only on the Tally installation corresponding to that approved serial number. Use of the same TDL on any additional Tally serial number, whether directly or indirectly, is not permitted unless a separate license is purchased and approved. Licensing is enforced at the serial-number level to ensure controlled usage and protection of intellectual property.

Permitted Use and Restrictions

The software may be used only for lawful internal business purposes within the licensed Tally environment and within the documented functionality of the program. Copying, sharing, reselling, sublicensing, modifying, decrypting, reverse-engineering, or tampering with the software is strictly prohibited. The program may not be represented as the user’s own intellectual property. Any unauthorised use constitutes a material breach of this policy.

Partners and White-Label Usage

Partner or White-Label arrangements, if any, are governed by separate written agreements. Under such arrangements, partners may operate only within the expressly authorised scope. All intellectual property rights, including source code and program logic, remain exclusively with Tally Master. Any misuse or breach may result in immediate termination and legal action.

Updates, Suspension, and Termination

Tally Master may provide updates or modifications at its discretion to maintain compatibility or performance. Compatibility with future versions of Tally software is not guaranteed unless expressly stated. Tally Master reserves the right to suspend or terminate the license without refund in case of policy violation, unauthorised usage, or tampering. Upon termination, the user must immediately discontinue use of the software.

Intellectual Property and Liability

All rights in the TDL programs, documentation, and related materials remain the exclusive intellectual property of Tally Master. Use of the software does not guarantee statutory compliance or error-free results. Users remain solely responsible for configuration, interpretation of outputs, and compliance with applicable laws.

Governing Law

This License & Usage Policy is governed by the laws of India. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Chengalpattu, Tamil Nadu.
